For those of you who know my man, you'll know what a big deal it was for him this month to bag the buck of a lifetime. To top it off, not only was he hunting with his best, old hunting buddy and it was archery season (which I'm told makes this much more special than it would be in gun season) but it was the first deer shot on his parents' new hunting farm. That all adds up to ....priceless.
I understand that I'm going to have another dead animal hanging on my wall in time. I know some of you girls are jealous about that :) but it comes with the territory around here. Well, Larry doesn't hunt but my father does and we enjoy good venison! I wanted to say too that I love that devotional on your first post. I have that book, which day was that from?
